The IPL device, or Intense Pulsed Light device, is a medical aesthetic instrument that emits high-intensity, broad-spectrum (typically 410–1200 nm), discontinuous light. It works by filtering the broad-spectrum light through filters and directing it to the superficial and mid-dermal layers of the skin. Using the principle of selective photothermolysis, it precisely targets and shatters pigment particles, seals abnormal blood vessels, and stimulates the regeneration of collagen and elastic fibers.
