What is Emsella

Emsella is a non-invasive treatment designed to strengthen pelvic floor muscles and improve

pelvic health. Using High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM™) technology, it
stimulates the pelvic floor muscles to produce supramaximal contractions, equivalent to
performing thousands of Kegel exercises in a single 30-minute session. This can help with:
● Urinary incontinence (stress, urge, or mixed types)
● Postpartum or menopausal pelvic floor laxity
● Weak core strength
● Sexual function concerns
The treatment is painless, non-surgical, and requires no undressing

Emsella's core technology is HIFEM™ (High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic technology). In just 30 minutes, it induces tens of thousands of supramaximal contractions of the pelvic floor muscles, rebuilding neuromuscular control and enhancing muscle strength and endurance. The treatment is performed while seated on the device, with no skin contact required.

Treatment Process

Initial Assessment: A brief evaluation is conducted, including a review of symptoms (e.g., urinary leakage, postpartum changes, laxity) and a check for any contraindications. Treatment Preparation: The patient is comfortably seated on the Emsella chair and prepared for the session. Active Treatment: The electromagnetic stimulation begins. Patients feel strong, rhythmic contractions of the pelvic floor muscles. The procedure is non-painful. Session Completion: The treatment ends after the session is complete. No Downtime: There is no recovery period. Patients can immediately resume their normal daily activities.

Single Session Duration: Approximately 28–30 minutes.
